Metso has acquired Danish manufacturer of measurement systems, Kemotron A/S from K. Jested-Nielsen and J.J. Lorentzen, the founders of the company. The value of the purchase agreement is not disclosed. The acquired company will be integrated into Metso Automation’s Process Automation business line.

The acquisition strengthens Metso Automation’s position as a supplier of measurement based control solutions especially in the chemical pulping industry. It also expands Metso Automation in new customer segments, such as chemical industry.
